Independent time synchronisation
By introducing an additional time source, it is possible to synchronize it with a certified source wirelessly, constituting an alternative or complement to the GNSS system. The ease of integration and the availability of the signal in large parts of Europe allow the construction of devices that are more resistant to the phenomena of jamming and spoofing of GNSS signals. The device provides an independent time timestamp provided in the NMEA standard.
Example use cases:
- street lights synchronisation
- as certified timestamp in event reporting
- toll gates
