POLSA provided almost 600 surveys from the Sat4Envi project to Blue Dot Solutions

The aim of the survey launched by the Polish Space Agency (POLSA) on June 11th 2018 was to gather information on the public administration’s competences and needs related to administrative use of satellite data. By July 17th 2018 POLSA received 593 answers, 81% of which was provided by respondents conducts activities on both national and sub-national (voivodship, county, city) levels.

Information provided in the surveys will be used by Blue Dot Solutions to create “Analysis for training needs” study, commissioned by the Polish Space Agency. The study will determine the optimal thematic focus of satellite data use, as well as form, methods and tools to be included in trainings related to satellite data usage. The results of the survey and the study will be also used to prepare training materials for the public administration.
